What would an artist do in times when all tours, shows, commitments are cancelled due to a global pandemic? My way of dealing with the situation was digging inadvertently in my musical past, ending up with recordings of two songs to mark the closest I most certainly ever will get to what they call Americana. One of them never mapped out to be recorded let alone being released, the other gathering dust in a drawer for 15 years waiting for new vocals to be recorded. A trad murder ballad and a weirdly beautiful song by a widely forgotten band from Davis, California.

This release wouldn't have happened without The Black Elephant Band's idea of joining forces to release something simultaneously here on bandcamp to gain some more attention presenting them all under the aegis of Folk's Worst Nightmare's Facebook page
Right thing to do at the right time for someone climbing the walls with despair. Kept me busy doing something sensible. Thanks for this.
